Our Story
Native Group
Native Steel was founded in 1961 by the late Mian Fazal-ur-Rehman, former Chairman of Native Group.
He began by producing plastic signs, hoardings and signage for multinational companies under the name Greenland Duplicators — Plastic and Steel World — from 46-A Empress Road, Lahore, Pakistan.
That venture made him a pioneer of plastic and neon signage in Pakistan. He soon pioneered school furniture and playground equipment as well, growing Greenland Duplicators into the country's largest manufacturer and supplier to schools, parks and offices — reaching new heights in quality and craftsmanship along the way.
Greenland Duplicators was later renamed Native Group, today made up of the following firms under one board of governors:
Native Steel, a part of Native Group, has grown its own network of specialized departments. Since its founding, it has earned a reputation for reliability and quality, supplying equipment to some of Pakistan's most prestigious institutions.
